Warning lights fail !!!

So I decided to clean out the warning lights on my raid as the neutral light was quite dim and hey presto all the bloody bulb holders promptly fell to bits nonono Any clues on replacing them? Cheers, Brad

Hi Brad

I guess the reason you haven't had a reply is because there isn't an easy answer confuse

The socket assembly new is nearly £80! Part number 4GY-83586-00

The best you can do is to try for a s/h part but my guess is that anyone else trying to remove the bulb holders will also find them falling apart cry

Alternatively drill the holes out to take the sturdier part from a blue model. Check with Steve to see if he has anything perhaps.

Brian

Alternatively try something like this instead.

Cheers Brian, I guessed that was the case! Steve has the whole binnacle light malarkey, but it's £40, may just have to bite the bullet and make sure they get some lube(Vaseline)? before fitting. Thanks for your reply, hope all's well 😃👍

I know this is an old post, but the blue binnacle has a female connector block and the OE a male connector block, so they will not be cross compatible. Just checked this out for a customer. And also the OE one is no longer availableno

What is your customer wanting to do Steve - fit the bulb holders from a bluey into a whitey? If so, a simple adapter wire would do it. Shouldn't be difficult to make biggrin
