North Devon Run

Having not been out with Oly for some time it was nice to hit the lanes in North Devon with him we started from his place way out past no mans land were the natives chuck spears at you and all the houses have a front cover so you can sit and play your Banjo come supper time. Taking in the lanes down to Hartland we had a most jolly day out with me clocking up 135 miles door to door will sort some video out latters an post up when I have time

Well done, Martyn, nice movie stills - you could put hundreds more up if you froze them all. biggrin

Only trouble doing stills is that only Olly gets pictured. confuse

I'm looking forward to the movie now.

It looked damp in places which is not surprising really.

Martyn

Hi martyn
It was very dry as it happens with very little water and mud around that said Olys bike was plastered he seems to find the nastiest bit and pile in he loves it. I Looked back and its 7 years since I did the lanes at Hartland little has changed but we picked a good quite day not many walkers and Horse riders and them we did meet was friendly. Oly will have to put up the number of lanes dun but my ass and back is telling me it was a lots today. I got lucky on the way back after Oly cut off just before Winkleigh I clipped edge of a Thunder storm the roads was awash but I barely saw a drop of rain.

28 lanes by my count. Thanks for coming martyn. I really enjoyed myself, it was great to get out on the bike. My bike feels much faster since losing a stone and a half, best performance mod yet!!

I’m sorry you couldn’t make it steve, let me know anytime you want to come up north with me!

Think he cut them himself freehand and to be fair he made a very good job they are suffering a bit now on the Tank with the bubbles. He was on about finding some foam backed vinyl and having a 2nd go. As said hears a sort Video of a lane or two from the trip I sped it up a bit as it took me 12 hours just to upload 6 min of Video to youtube www.youtube.com/watch
