Hi Tom.

If your question is about "running in" your new piston and rings then there is some information here http://ttr250.activeboard.com/t60341684/running-in-new-piston-and-rings/

Not a lot but it may help.

I tend to keep to half throttle or less for the first 50 miles and then do another 100 miles at three quarter throttle or less and then just drive in a way that you aren't "slogging" the engine until about 500 miles and then change the oil and start to ride it normally.

Slogging means using too high a gear whilst trying to accelerate.

Brian

PS Or are you asking about lapping in the valves?

Thank you, Brian. All clear. Only piston and cylinder. I gave the head to the workshop.

Are you talking about honing the cylinder?

He will be on the road in a few days. Now the last caresses in the workshop. It was all too difficult and too much to do yourself

I am glad that the translator is good although Polish is difficult
