And it sounds awesome too biggrin

I saw it at a local Hot Rod meet last week.

I am not a fan of the huge Harleys that look like Goldwings but this one looked superb.

Is it a "bobber"?

All it needs is a plough on the rear. biggrin

Sorry, but I have never been a fan of Hardleys - much preferring the old British bikes - Triumph, BSA, Norton, AJS, Matchless, Velocette and Vincent to name but a few.

Each to their own I suppose.

Here's one, but I must admit that I'd prefer it not "bobbed":-

This one is miles better and ditto about preferring it unbobbed:-

Mind - I've not seen them in the flesh as you have your example.

C'est la vie

Bobber (motorcycle) ... The typical construction includes stripping excess bodywork from a motorcycle; removing the front fender, and shortening the rear fender, which is "bobbed" (as in bob-tail), and all superfluous parts removed to reduce weight.

This LINKY takes you to Wikipedia for a lengthy explanation.

Dan's bike, therefore, is not bobbed in the true sense IMO as it's tuned and prepared for circuit racing, even though it has lights. confuse
It also has a front fender and no rear fender. biggrinbiggrin

If you are riding through that amount of poo in Hatherleigh then you need a "bagger" rather than a bobber Steve wink
