My TTR after a few hours in the workshop and a few pounds spent with Steve at totally TTR , I am fairly pleased with the result , all ready to go travelling. 😀😀

Superb, Bob.

The tank looks to fit OK, just ready for a long haul, as do the rack and pannier rails.

Where are you off to, somewhere nice? confuse

 Yes tank fitted ok thanks to Steve for his info and help , it's probably going to be Pyrenees first and then I want to do the eastern leg of the TET ,

 They started life as DRZ rails , much cutting an bending , milling some alloy brackets and lots of fitting and altering later , so I guess you could say I made them , they are strong and you can pick the bike up with them , I tried my wolfman bags on tonight and they fit perfectly ,  and thanks for your help with parts and advice , much appreciated.   Bob

Looking good, I see you have a B&B rear rack. My mate has one on his TTR & the rear sub frame cracked while we were in the Victorian high country. All he had on the rear was a bag with a bottle of water & a small tool roll. It may have been bouncing around in the rough tracks so best keep an eye on the sub frame.

 Thanks Terry , yes i had read about the rear subframe and have checked mine for corrosion , I have designed the side rails so any weight on the rear rack is transferred down to the bottom mount where the rear pegs used to be , I'm hoping this will help in strengthening the rear end , thanks.   Bob

 Thanks , its a parabellum screen which I took off my DRZ , got it from Pro Cycle in states.

Some screen fixing pics , it's just a case of drilling the headlamp cowl and fixing with small bolts and rubber washers , the screen comes with the fixings from procycle , it's a DRZ screen , I just remembered the bottom fixing is using a small plate with two holes to get screen at the right angle , I used a piece of stainless with the holes about 20mm apart ,

 Don't know where the stickers came from , I swapped the cowling of my other bike and it had them on when I bought it , good advertising 😉
