hey guys I have been able to research a new complete seal head for the TTR250.

but now I am looking for oil.. do I want 2.5 or 5 or 7 or 10

I am a trail rider and single track. I am about 285lbs with riding gear.

race tech says US1 which from what I read is like 5-7 weight 

also for the nitrogen. the manual says 145 PSI

race tech says 165 PSI 

any recommendations ??

not sure about the oil weight 

mine was re gassed to 160 psi 

and had a WR250R shock head (same bore different reservoir set up ) fitted by a shock guy , so i only have part of the info , aslo do the same riding as you , it now tracks straight over stuff id normal go round .

No definitive answer so far found on standard oil weight no
