Spilled gas
Permalink

hi everyone, today I was using a gas can to fill up my nearly empty TTR and when I was pulling out the gas nozzle a small amount of gas came out of the nozzle and ran down on the seat and some went down the sides of the tank and dripped on the engine. also a small amount went on the frame near the key switch. I am worried that it could hurt the paint or the seat cover or some seals/gaskets on the engine. I immediately grabbed a towel and wiped it off of the seat and sides of the tank but the gas sat on the frame and the engine for about 45 seconds. Again it was a small amount of gas but it seemed to go everywhere. Will it hurt the bike at all? Thanks.

Its unlikely. I had a tank which was leaking g for a while before I noticed the graphics peeling and must have dripped below. Nothing to really show for it.
