Is riding in cold weather bad for your bike.

Hi everyone, I have another question for you guys. Is cold starting and or riding bad for the bike or engine in cold weather(40-50) Fahrenheit. I am not worried as much about the bike as I am the engine. Is it bad to start the engine when it is colder out? I'm worried that the oil flow isn't great and it will cause excessive damage. Also would the air fuel mixture be off enough to hurt the engine? Thanks.

As long as you're using oil of the correct grade for the temperature there will be no problems there. 10/40 gives a good range from below zero C to 20. If it's really cold maybe 5/30? What do the skidoo guys use? If the bike is stored somewhere sheltered and warmed up gently it'll generate enough heat of it's own to avoid problems.
I don't think the denser cool air will have a huge effect on the air/fuel ratio in the way that altitude does.
