Carburettor drips
Permalink

hi everyone. I noticed that the very bottom of the carburettor always has a bit of gas hanging from it. And it looks like the engine case directly below it is wet. I felt the engine case and it feels dry so the carburettor must not drip often. Does anyone have this problem and what would fix it? Thanks.

You checked that the drain screw isn't loose?

Also it may be coming from the Diaphragm, or a sticking float? normally the float is if the bike has not been used for a while and a gentle tap on the float bowl sorts it out.

I'll check and see if the screw is loose. I start the bike about once a week even if I don't ride it. I do this so the carbourater won't get gummed up.
