confuse Really hope they have misquoted the seat height for the 250!! Might be the deciding factor in my buying a TTR 250

Hi Cubber. I was intending on making a light hearted comment. It does state a seat height of 1255mm! Clearly a typo on their part, just made me laugh. Apologies if I was taken seriously.

It's OK Stringy - I realised your humour and I did see their typo in the small print. wink

One of my New Year Resolutions is trying not to be my normal, grumpy self    and the year is still young.

                         OR ............

Why not try stretching your inside leg measurement to suit the bike? biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Always liked the look of the 600. That tank shape is lovely. 20kg more weight though for a kick-only, add another 10 maybe for the later e-start version which then was spoiled by worse suspension - shame.

I have the 600RE, and currently trying to sell it to finance a 250. It actually handles really well despite its weight and the less than perfect suspension. But, it's too much for me on technical stuff, particularly when you drop it or get pinned by it no. As an all rounder and an only bike, which is why I bought it, it is brilliant. A large Acerbis tank and a good riding position, all day comfortable.
