Wow - that's my old stamping ground and has brought back memories, thanks.

It certainly looks a tad chilly and I like your handlebar muffs. Your hands would be toast if you had heated grips too! wink

Hands ok with decent gloves, muffs hit kill switch a couple of times and had to take hand out to use indicator!

Are you from Bellingham?

serow did well, Its pilot Dave is 70 and did have a ttr. He found it a tad tall but loves the serow. We call it the goat as it literally climbs everything.

the bike is named after the Japanese mountain goats I was looking at some photos of them and they are a bit of an odd looking animal smile

My wife had a XT250 (225cc) Serow, was a good little bike with electric start & low seat height

I presume you were asking me if I was from Bellingham - the answer is NO, I am actually born and bred in Yorkshire but I have spent most of my life living in Co. Durham - a village called Tanfield, not far from Stanley.

When I went green laning on my old Triumph T110 and Tiger Cub, last century, Bellingham was a near access to the Northumbrian vastness.

Spent quite a few sessions in the Cheviot Hotel and many hours trailing around Kielder, Otterburn, Once Brewed, Hadrian's Wall, etc, etc.

I lived at a place called Tanfield, not far from Burnopfield, in Derwentside where I worked.

I retired in 2010 and moved to the trail riding capital of England - to Devon.

I still like Durham's damp lanes with 360 degree vistas and skies, Devon's lanes are in sunken tracks covered with overhanging trees, totally different but very active.
