Dodgy link. Takes you to an entirely different page. Proceed with caution

Hi Moo - I am using Chrome and somehow have caught the Vigilink re-direct bug. Can't work out how to get shot of it despite Googling all the solutions......

The link is good but it's the dodgy Vigilink extension in Chrome that's causing the re-direct no

Brian, found a fix. I usually use Ghostery extension on chrome to stop websites tracking me. I can ask ghostery to block viglink on every website and the link now works fine.

Well , I have been for my first ride on the bike and love it!
Tacho however !
It hovers between 800 and 1200 ticking over and does 55mph at 3000 revs do don’t think that is right ?
I may have wound wire back over itself which may give a false readings. The hour meter however seemed right 1 he 30 mins to do about 50 miles on c roads ? So it will be worth it just for that for some ?05B60BCD-BC7E-4D56-8D5F-F29B0E3FD741.jpeg

May improve if you re fit the pick up wire if it’s a pulse pick up may not improve if it’s inductive (induced voltage ) winding back over its self might confuse it a bit

very tidy looking bike

i had a simular unit on my XR250....
worked well great fo cruseing...
but the refresh rate was to slow
to keep track of the revs while going
up and though the revs.. it was
always well behind the motor..

Still no better. Idles at 800and max I have seen is 2500 .its as if its thinking its on a twin ie it would be twice as much as showing .
I will try again with less winding?

if you want reliability then koso or trail tech are the better options.  much more expensive but they last.

I have this Chinese thing with two buttons. It has hour meter and RPM. RPM is slow in take some milisecond or second to react.

This unit has unchangeable battery i.e. there is no removable cover. However they do have with cover.

Once the device hanged, i.e. it did not respond to buttons and was showing some RPM value although the engine was not running.

I needed to do intervention i.e. using screw driver open/damage welded plastic and get to the battery. After reconnecting wiring it started to work again.

Since that it didn't hang second time.

Lol I love these cheap chinese items :)
