I'm going to fit a K&N air filter on my TTR. Has anyone done this? - feedback would be appreciated if you have

As in a cone filter? Instead of the airbox and foam?

I wouldn't

Basics are, it lets more dirt through, clogs up quicker and doesnt filter as well as foam, which can trap smaller particles.

Knowing how dirty mine gets after a few off road rides, i wouldnt want dirt getting sucked into the engine

I think most people go with TwinAir type air filters.

There are ways people mod the airbox to allow more air flow
