Foot pegs are really high on my TTR250???

I rode my new to me TTR250 yesterday after riding my crf450x and I noticed it felt really cramped on the TTR.  After checking, the footpegs on the TTR are at least 3-4" higher than the bottom of the bike.  Is that normal, or did someone short put these on?

Hi John and welcome to the forum biggrin

There are lots of TTR photos here and on the interweb. Have a look at yours and compare the placement with the TTRs in the photos.

Very rare for owners to move footpegs up.
