Help with 2005 ttr250

hiya all I'm looking for someone to be able to get my ttr running properly again . Will deliver to you depending how long a drive it is .

my father purchased this bike around 4-5 years ago was using it regular then it needed a mot so he never bothered with it again . After 3 years of being dry stored ive decided to buy it . I've drained old fuel / new oil and filter / spark plug / . The bike fired up but was running poorly. Getting very hot and spluttering. So I purchased a carb rebuild kit from here . Fitted that and a new rubber boot from engine to carb . it runs a bit better but still not right . Is there anyone on here that would be willing to have a go of getting it running properly again . Or a specialist on here I could contact please . Any info be great 👍.

Did you clean out the carb jets properly? That's the most likely problem after a long layover. Presuming the fuel runs freely from the tank into the carb bowl, I would persevere a bit with that after looking at some of the carb rebuild threads on here before you throw in the towel. Hang in there. It's worth it

Gave the carb a very good clean. Replaced the jets with new ones but still the same .

I'm done with trying. Time to get someone with some TTR250 knowledge 😀.
