What do you guys think? I saw a stock TTR the other day and was like "eww, what is that?" I got so used to mine that I forgot it wasn't stock.

The main reason I did this is because the KTM light is 100% DOT legal whereas the old one and many aftermarket lights are not (US model).

It will probably need the bulb changing every 10 hours of use....

Does look good though

It does look nice, I agree.

Beware, though, it may tend to weaken the TTR's side stand also. biggrin

In all fair ness Rich they do go 20 hours between top end rebuilds and people risk it take a chance and go 30-40 hours but if it lets go it's game over for the motor but this is the Mx race bikes and full on Enduro bikes. the Freeride is a different low stress motor and fairs better in the running times but it's still no TTr Just ask this chap

Yeah, I'll see how long it lasts. Only about 400 miles on it currently.

It is mounted much better than they mount them on a KTM. KTM uses rubber bands around the forks and mounts the bottom to the fender. All very loose and floppy. I'm using steel mounts and bolts with rubber washers for vibration mitigation and the bottom is mounted to the triple camp instead of the fender.

It's not the best light for sure. I can't even tell what the difference is between high and low beam, lol. I just needed something legal and plan on adding aux LED lighting eventually.
