Hi Rich and welcome to the forum!

Used carbs are like rocking horse poo and hen's teeth - hard to find!

I watch eBay all the time and they rarely come up for sale.

It only happens that Steve has carbs in his Totally TTRs shop because I decided that the ones I had held back for projects were not going to be used and better to refurbish them and make them available to owners.

I know shipping to the States is expensive but if you get stuck try here

OOI, what's up with your existing carb?

I just got a 2006 ttr250 and bought it with the carb in pieces in a coffee can, so far as i can tell float, float pin, diaphram are missing, when buyang i thought no big deal prob a million available. Yikes, was i wrong. Guess i need to take a snipers perch and wait my shot at one in US. I have relatives in Ireland and England, shipped a small parcel there before, ouch, swore I'ld never do that again. Thanks all, I am sure I will be back here looking for more help and just reading as well. Great site, and thanks to all who share their knowledge.

Maybe try a flatslide conversion like this:

They seem to be cheap Stateside - might at least get you rolling?

All those parts are available and it's probably worth getting them to put the carb together especially if the carb body itself is OK wink

I appreciate Mossproof's recommendation but going with the standard carb saves you the ball ache of adapting an after-market carb to fit, jetting it up, etc. but, there again, I am not the adventurous type biggrin

Ok thanks brian, i guess i gotta do it the hard way, and disect it to see what is and isnt there. Just gotta get my head right, some time, and print an exploded view out.
