Nasty weather here today so decided to spend some workshop time on carbs put back over the years for various reasons.

A couple of them had seized float bowl drain screws - not unusual - so had a go with my LH drill bits and Easy-outs.

This screw was not going to come out without a fight no

Tools used plus a LH drill bit.

The drain screw came out nicely with no damage to the casting or threads biggrin

The second screw was more of a problem and I ended up drilling through the float bowl disbeliefdisbelief

As I said, some you win, some you lose! But an expensive error disbelief
