rear exhaust ?

has anyone cut open a standard exhaust and modified it to liberate a bit more flow ?

have chopped the bit off the front pipe, just wondered if there was anything to gain by messing with the rear exhaust

i know most would just bolt on an aftermarket system, but, if your like me with more free time than spare cash, thats prob not going to happen any time soon no

With regard to modifying the standard exhaust, I used to host a link to a project in the FAQ but took it down after a couple of owners said that it made the exhaust very loud and it wasn't a "nice" loud.

There are a few threads on here from owners who have fitted more open (but not too loud) exhausts from enduro machines such as the WRF and XR.

PS If you are keen to experiment though, go to https://www.facebook.com/LinearProjects and look for a post dated 21 July 2013. The test video is 29 September 2013.

There are cheap honda crf 250r mufflers on ebay. I used one from 2010 year model. I needed to do some welding cause the original exhaust was to long.
