Hey there. My name's Nick. Just recently acquired a metal tank'd (not sure of the year) sumo'd TTR 250. This bike has no service records and has been thru several owners so I have no way of knowing what's been done to it. Otherwise, the bike seems to run fine. The clutch just slips at higher Rpm's, suspension needs some work, and lots of minor fixes to be done. Gonna head to my trusty mechanic (sorry I don't know much in the way of fixing bikes) tomorrow to give it a full service and hopefully have it run like new when I get it back. :D
It's the orange one. The black is an XR250 (not mine). Just need some work to make it fully street legal~

Clutch slip could be a simple cable adjustment and not cost you anything
Hey. :D
Thanks. Turns out my ASV lever's adjuster was hitting the control switch housing causing it to have very little travel, I removed the adjuster and just shimmed it with a nut+tape and it seemed to work (can't say for sure because I've never had a 4-stroke dualsport) though lever travel is way way longer now. Still gotta have it checked in case if something's up. :D

Wellp it turns out my clutch plates are really toast and my timing chain is already loose as hell so those need to be replaced ASAP. Also the bearings and axles on my swingarms were f*ckd up, some parts don't even have bearings on them and used the wrong bolts too wtf so those need replacing as well.
Anyway I'm getting all of those sorted by my mechanic atm. Seems like he knows where to source the parts even though it's a really rare bike over here. Any chance the totallyttrs site would ship parts to the Philippines? :)
I am sure there will be other TTR owners interested in that sort of information so why not keep it on this thread - in public?
The short answer is...
I bought her looking like that, and the previous owner too. So, yeah.
The long answer should be...
You can get your frame, tank and plastics repainted from some kind of car/motor shop (here in the Philippines) or DIY it, then the headlight and fender is probably from Polisport.
