i have got another engine to put into my ttr while i do my origional engine  this other engine had a oil cooler fitted what inside bolts do i need to check for lengths with no oil cooler on my bike many thanks john

it says measurments in inches and metric is the measurement under the bolt head not the whole length of the bolt

just re read about it it is measured under the head took clutch cover off my new engine the bolt measures 13 mm under the head which is std with no oil cooler but this engine had oil cooler confused

Sounds like the previous owner did not know he had to fit the blanking bolt.

Was there actually any oil in the oil cooler? It seems it may have been fitted... But useless as the oil wasn't been sent round it

cant remember few years ago but anyway i put the short bolt back in & engine runs sweet now to strip my old engine
