This is a one off spe ial.

 

Built by the TTRmeister Mr Sussex last year and purchased by me.

Thumper racing 325 kit was fitted and bike rebuilt by Brian himself.

I have put heated grips on it & a trailtech speedo.

The 325 kit makes a huge difference to low and mid range power. Runs beautifully and smooth.

Bike is an 04 but as I say, rebuilt.

I have used it so light scuffs to plastics, but no splits/cracks.

Also fitted with a WRF headlamp unit which looks ace.

Newly fitted tyres(mt43) on rear.

Chain & spro let's have done one ride.

The only reason for sale is I am looking at a 690.

I will be posting some pictures.

 

So....the big question is what is it worth?

Difficult to say as there probably only half a dozen in the UK!!!!!

Amazing opportunity this issmile

Bozz only got this bike a he is the ambassador for all things TTR. I think here is only 3 in the UK? Boz's Simons and Brians???? Maybe Robin has one??

What bozz forgot to mention the bike has been fully rebuilt with a powder coated frame, by Brian. This really is a sweet bike, I just hope that Bozz is going to stick around.

I won't be going anywhere, but I have seen a lovely 690 and want to do some longer trips this year.

Breaks my heart to be getting rid of the 325 as I nagged Brian so much for one!

 

Forgot to say that it has a bespoke rear rack fitted as well.

So....even rarer than rare  hens teeth......one of 4 in the UK to?!!!!!!!!

This has to be the perfect bike- increased power, yet retains the same weight of a TTR...with kick start
If considering a long distance trip-This bike would make an ideal overland adventure bike if fitted with

and associated fittings.  Part availability is as we all know..a breeze
I think comparables might be a DRZ- but they are not so simple & robust- I think at £2500+ you are near the £, but low.
What year is it/mileage etc- that will help get a more accurate figure.

Its a 2004 bike and the rebuild was catalogued on this site by Brian when he did it  - look for 325 project on Projects and restorations section.

fully rebuilt engine (top and bottom end).

In terms of what I've done on it since rebuild - I would think around 1200 miles.

It returns around the same mpg as a 250, but the bottom end and midrange gains are very noticeable, particularly travelling up hills when on the road.

Don't worry guys. I'm going to keep this bike. The 690 idea is no more!

 

So steve, I'm going nowhere!

Surprised though that there was little or no interest. The 325 is an amazing bike and very rare.

The KTM690 is over rated, we have a guy with a 690 that rides with us & I have ridden the 690, it goes hard but the ride is very harsh, the bike is heavy. When he rode the TTR he loved the ride quality & the seat, only the power was a concern
