Has anybody upgraded the springs in the standard 43mm forks, I tried to get some progressive springs from Hagon shocks but they don't make any. I was just wondering if anybody had done anything similar?

Cheers

Andy

Hi Andy

I don't know of anyone that has uprated the TTR springs but, back in the day when I rode enduros, we used to "tune" our front fork springs by adjusting their compression by increasing or decreasing the length of the spacers.

Domestic white plastic waste pipe was a cheap and reliable source of spacers! Different sizes available to suite the forks being adjusted biggrin

Additional adjustment is also available using the clicker at the bottom of the fork legs and putting air in via the valve at the top.

The TTR spacer is item 10 in the photo below.

If putting air in the Forks to stiffen a bit be careful. 5.7 psi Max and the Forks can build up a little pressure on their own, so I would not put the max in, unless you keep a regular eye on the pressure.
