Hi there,

Has anyone removed there airbox and replaced there air filter with a foam air filter / Uni-Filter that goes staright on to the carby and what advantages/ disadvantages did it have ?

I removed my original filter set up on a small engine Honda CRF and fitted a foam one and it made such a difference to performance!

Any feedback on this would be really appreciated .

Cheers , James from Oz 🍻

I haven't done it but, if you go ahead, please post up some feedback and photos please! You can be our guinea pig wink

My only concern would be if you went trail riding with river crossings or deep water-filled ruts cry

No... mainly because I can't see any gain in slowing the air flow down...

IF ANYTING IT WILL HAVE MORE AIR TO GET TO SO IT DOESNT HAVE TO CRAWL UNDER A SEAT OF A 200 LB RIDER OR U CAN ALWAYS TAKE THE BOX COVER OFF BUT ONLY AFTER IT GETS DONE RAINING AND THE SUNS BEEN OUT TO DRY UP SOME THINGS SO UR NOT SUCKING IN RANDOM TRASH OR DUST OR WATER
