The faq said yz plastics fit but i dont see any year that will fit my 04. Are there any side plate options that will fit the side  size properly with light modification to the mounts Perhaps?

I am sorry that the FAQ was misleading but what I meant was that when the blue TTRs were introduced the plastics wee YZ style in terms of colour and other styling cues - not that YZ plastics would fit - I will clarify that in the FAQ.

It does say later "After-market plastics. 

You can't get after market plastic for the TTR except an MX style rear fender. You can put any aftermarket YZ/WR front fender on it though - just cut off about an inch in the back."

This is now also sadly out of date as the special TTR MX rear fender (Maier) is no longer available disbelief

Thank you, I've found one stock plastic side plate (left), but just one. Sigh.....

Is there a difference on the blue model side plates for 99-05 and 06-09?

The side plastics are the same shape and fit from 1993 to end of production - just the colour changed from white to blue circa 1999.

The difference between years on the blue panels might be just the small TTR250 sticker. I am sure the big white decals will be the same on all the blue ones.
