Enjoy Graphics and Seat Cover
Permalink

Picked up the full graphics kit from Enjoy that included the new seat cover. Pretty good kit and was not too difficult to install. Had to trim a bit of the graphic on the gas tank as I couldnot get it to lay right around the edges.

Yep - you gotta trim the tank decals a tad to get 'em to fit nicely - see http://ttr250.activeboard.com/t60467111/fitting-enjoy-mfg-tank-decals-or-graphics/

I like the new design for the tank decals biggrin

When the decals are newly fitted, I think the glue spans the breather cuts and therefore makes it difficult to squeeze out the bubbles of petrol vapour that bleed through the tank walls. I use a Stanley blade just to cut through the glue in the centre of any bubbles and that allows me to flatten the decal to the tank again.

Are they a perforated style vinyl on the tank?

Yeah, but after using a stanley knife and cutting every little slit in the decal it fixed the bubbling

How did the seat cover fit? Did you install over the vinyl seat or over foam directly?

Just got mine today after seeing your looking so sharp!!

Beautiful bike mate!

PS.. if you use a hat gun lightly on the white stressed areas on your fender ( not hot enough to change the some finish!! Less than that) it will return the plastic to is relaxed state and turn blue again to match.. just a thought if you were contemplating a cure for it without buying a new fender!
