Probably a silly question about gasket replacing

I need to replace the gasket on the right-hand side of the engine case because it leaks oil.
Do I need anything to stick the gasket down or do I just throw it on and put the case on?

Dry fit the gasket. That being said, ensure that you've removed all of the old gasket if it broke off in bits. I like to wipe both flange surfaces off with brake cleaner before fitting the new gasket.

Cheers!

Uh, do any other bolts other bolts hold the right hand side case on other than the 10 allen head bolts? Do any of the oil filter cap bolts hold it down?

Yes one of them does, the long one towards the front of the bike.
