Right!

Everyone has eaten to much and gone to bed!

Just me and some cheese leftbiggrinbiggrin

Thought I would catch up with everyone about the ride out Christmas eve, before I watch some crappy film I have seen a dozen timeswinkwink

22 Riders turned up smile

Here is a picture of most at the start point

Think there was 9 Santas 6 elves and 2 Christmas treesbiggrinbiggrin and some well decorated bikes. 6 TTR's were present and a good mix of other inferior bikes and even had a sidecar outfit with ussmilesmile

A nice mix of easy lanes to start with, then off to a very deep rut lane that I have nick named, what have I come up here again forbiggrinbiggrin I honestly say that every timenono

We all stopped at the top for a mince pie and all riders thanked me kindly for taking them up that laneblehblehbleh

After the quick rest we set of to Fingle Bridge, this is a great lane, with a really steep climb through half a dozen hair pin bends. Now as run leader I did not get to see the shenanigans behind mehmm But the young lad Mike, who's first time it was green lanning on a bike with road tyres was having some fun, so much so that his dad decided to get in the act and looped the husky he was ridingbiggrinbiggrin.

Hope someone got some video of that!

Next stop was Chagford for lunch, we brought the whole town to a standstill and lots of people gave kindly to the charity pot (yet to know how much was raised) Hope to get a picture of us all there.

The people were very welcoming, as this has been the third year of the Charity ride, the workers in the Spar shop were fantastic and gave us 3 tins of biscuitssmilesmilesmile yummysmile

Off to do some more of Dartmoors fantastic lanes, the last lane being Ratcoombe, which is only short but a very tricky/steep/rocky lane, perfect for the last lane of the day and all riders negotiated it perfectly.

Back to the Red Lion in Exbourne for a well deserved pint and a good chat about the laughs we had on the way.

I was pleased to take out such a nice group of lads and ladies, who all gave generously to the Devon Air Ambulance potsmilesmilesmile

A big thanks to all of themsmile

Best Dressed of the day went to Richard, a fellow TTR Nut!

I took the outfit and left the TTR at home so I could take the boy, it's hard work when compared with a solo but great fun riding with someone as a team, especially your son.
