My friend Bob and I paid Steve a visit this morning - both a social plus putting our heads together to check out a possible theory that might be causing some owners problems with their sprags.

We wanted to check on an installed sprag so Steve decided to have a look at the one on the TTR he is breaking for spares.

First off he found the common problem of a seized sump plug - no problem for a plumber with a big pair of Stilsons wink

I think the previous owner may have drowned this TTR!!!  We weren't expecting what came out of the sump!!!

Fortunately there was plenty of oil floating on the emulsion so hopefully no damage done to the engine internals biggrin

Always good to see Bouncing bob lewis and Brismile

Must have been the smallest pasties I have seen todaynono tasted nice though!

Never seen oil like that beforecry lets hope it is OK on the insideworry.gif
