Hi...Center stands..does anyone have one or can anyone advise ( I am happy to make, but need photographs/dimensions,fix points etc)

A center stand God..by the name of Cigar Mike used to make them for many bikes, but has anyone got one for the mighty TTR250!

As rare as hen's teeth and rocking-horse manure I think. confusebiggrinconfuse

Only side stands that fold out of the way are supplied as stock stands on TTRs - something to do with ground clearance I believe. smile

UNLESS you mean this sort of centre-stand

Note that if you were going for one of those instead of a true fold-up centre stand, then many of them are too high to fit under the TTR's bash plate. For another £15 you can get an adjustable one that will.

How about a portable one like this, I'm going to make one of these for sure, Too easy, they need a foot on them for offroad or find a rock

Sidetrack one has made something similar to the DR650 one for his ttr. I remember seeing it in this thread somewhere.

Its a good one isn't it. Sidetrack one (who is a member on here) would be a handy bloke to know.

It would be good to find out more about the stand. Maybe it's something Steve might like to get manufactured and sell through his shop wink

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I have already made a "simple stand" as BM Steve suggests, but im after a stand that folds under the bike.( like a normal center stand)..An American called Cigar Mike used to make stands for serows TTR's etc.

I have been through the link provided by Leigh...but can I find the center stand...NO!
can anyone help me further?

Steve- I would be interested in a centre stand...
Regards
Rod
