serious bike vibration fixed

For the best part of a year now my bike has been vibrating a hell of a lot, jerking into first, and jerking when going down gears and just being extremely rough. It was extremely disappointing and for the life of me i could not fix the problem.

I changed the sprockets, chain, went over the bugger so many times and all it was was the bottom front engine mount bolt being loose. I am so happy but kind of amazed at how something so mundane could have such a massive impact. I know this is probably common sense to most of you but i'm not exactly bike savvy. Maybe another noob can find this post and it'll help :)

Yes well worth posting Lee! Some people don't realise that they would ever come loose. Glad it's sorted.

Great post and a reminder it can be something simples, Nylocs all round would be a good thing? I have thought about using these more and more.

I fitted nylocks  on anything that could come loose very early on

replaced all the bolts with allen heads except the engine bolts

and put S/Steel spring washers under every other bolt or screw

never had anything come loose so far

oh and locktite here and there as well

..
