Like a lot of people, I am a sucker for the kits that Aldi and Lidl offer. I bought a kit that included what should be a very useful wire brush but, within a few minutes, it shed all of its wires!

Is there a make or brand of accessories that might last a bit longer please?

Brian

Have a look on ebay brian, you can get those brushes in 10 packs really cheap, but buy the steel ones, they seem to last OK, the brass ones are for very light or delicate work

My kit is a Chinese made Ozito brand, think I paid $40 for the complete kit similar to yours

Responses appreciated!

I have thus spent £4.48 on three packs of 10 different brushes (one set brass another steel plus some sturdier looking brushes to go into corners) from the Far East and do not have high expectations no.gif

I got a couple of angle grinders and keep a steel cup brush on one and a fine cutting disc on another. I wouldn't let the wire brush loose on anything but solid steel as it would rip aluminium pieces apart.
