Wiring Diagram for White 93 Open Enduro
Permalink

Can anyone point me to a wiring diagram for a 93 Open Enduro.  The Haynes manual does not cover the older bikes I think. I have no instruments on mine but would like to fit a neutral light as it only starts in neutral and I cannot figure out what connector provides the feed for this light.

I have found the connector for front brake light switch, my MOT man would like to see switch working next time

Has anyone ever done a mod so headlights come on only with a running engine only

Just checking if you have the blue and white speedo and warning light connectors on your loom as below?

If so, the wires to the neutral light are in the white connector block. Power for the neutral light is brown and the feed to the neutral switch is light blue or grey - can't quite make it out from the photos but should be obvious enough on your loom. The neutral light gets power when the neutral switch in the gearbox goes to earth thus making a circuit.

The neutral light is at the bottom right of this photo.

I had a Raid a few years ago where the headlight only came on when the engine was started so it must be an easy mod to an OE loom.

Thanks very much for this confirmation.  I do have these connectors under my tank.  I think you put a link to a Raid working diagram to someone else's question sometime ago.  Comparing my harness to this I see it is very similar, if not exactly the same..  I have identified the Brown and Sky Blue wires in the white connector that drive the Neutral light, so I will wire in a light to give me a neutral light.  My ****pit is sparse of instruments, just a small battery powered cycle speedo working off a sensor fitted to the front wheel.  Works well enough for now and always passes the MOT.

I also saw your posts about fitting a aftermarket key switch (I do not presently have one), so I am doing this at the same time.

I'll likely leave the lights question for now
