Whats up everyone!

Name is Michael. I Own a 99' TTR-250 as a Dual Sport. Joined this forum because I find myself Constantly on it looking for advice and Upgrade options. Bought my bike back in March and have loved everything this bike has done for me. On-Road Cruising, Fireroads, trails, single track trails and MX tracks. So thought I should join to share my adventures and maybe even meet up with a few other fellow TTR riders. Im Located in SoCal right next to Hungry Valley SVRA (I work there biggrin so yes I ride the trails before heading home).

Well thats it guys! Hope to meet some cool people and find good advice! I know I need it currently!

Welcome to the forum Michael!

Good to see you are enjoying your TTR. I hope you find the information you need from our forum wink

Brian

PS Six of us are looking to do a Californian road trip starting and finishing at Los Angeles going east to the Grand Canyon then Lake Powell, Lake Tahoe, down the Pacific Coast Highway back to Los Angeles.

Cheeky ask but using your local knowledge, is late April/early May a good time to make the trip?

Also, we are looking at a vehicle that is comfortable to travel (about 3.000 miles) with six adults and their luggage for 3 weeks with good visibility in the rear side windows. Do you reckon a Dodge Grand Caravan would fit the bill or would you recommend looking at an alternative?

Great riding around Hungry Valley, I haven't been there in a long time but went a few times from Bakersfield about 20 years ago. Is your bike plated? Hard to get that done anymore!

Brian if you come up to Tahoe you're welcome to borrow my bike, but it might be a bit small for the 6 of you.
