Bogging down while "cruising" in top gear!

Hey Folks,

Have a 1994 TTR250. Has just been completely rebuilt from bottom up & has a quirky little issue having trouble sorting. The bike is running a dual Uni filter set up & the only other difference being the pipe. It is running a WR250 Enduro pip as well. When accelerating or cruising in any gear other than top, the bike pulls & runs fine. However, when in top gear it bogs down or misses in mid throttle like it is flooding? The bike will pull through this when you drop down a gear or rev through it, but it is bloody annoying. Plug is a good light brown in colour, spark good & have changed plugs twice. Float level is fine.........suggestions??

Check the timing chain didn't jump a tooth in the rebuild. That's enough to produce your symptoms.
