After three years of ownership I'll be saying goodbye soon. The TTR has proved to be an excellent bike and it's done a stirling job of introducing me to green lanes, the TRF and a face of the Peak District I didn't know.
I hope to do some longer trips which include trails.I have a trailer but I far prefer to ride. I know the TTR is well up to it I just want to make a little more progress getting there, and between the interesting bits. If I had room to keep the TTR I would.
Taken a risk and plumbed for a CCM GP450. I've taken one for a test ride on lanes I'm familiar with and was impressed, even with slightly inappropriate tyres.
I'm sure I'll keep a weather eye on this forum. Thanks for the help, tips and general banter.

Hi Paul, I've had my TTR for 5 years now, wow the time flew, mostly used for trail riding
I'm changing bikes for a DRZ400, more suited for what I want to do, more dual sport now and exploring longer distances
Those CCM450 are nice though aren't they
we have a distributor here in oz now, maybe I'll get one if I'm not happy with the DRZ, I keep eyeing those Tenere 650's though
Are there any CCM forums around ?
Good luck with it, drop back in and give us a report on it !
..

Thats one cool bike worth having just to look at .
Is black the only color option .
It seems to be the best of both worlds as long as it proves reliable .
I think ill add it to my future wish list .
