Any experience with Nomad tanks?  Aussies?  http://www.nomadtanks.com.au/  Site says some fit TTRs.

Think they're safe?

I have not seen one of these tanks other than in adverts but it looks to be a good fit.

I am not as flexible as I used to be so wouldn't like anything on the rear mudguard that would give me another excuse to fall over trying to mount the TTR disbelief

I had an 8L one on my bike for a while.

Pretty sturdy design, had a few offs and it never leaked while i had it.
It's good if you need extra fuel for a trip now and then, but dont want to put on a acerbis tank.

If you need something abit more specific, il try to answer the best i can.

Thanks for the feedback -- I feel your pain Brian, maybe I should try yoga. Krum -- I think you answered my main question, do these things leak? I haven't found any reviews/comments showing flames ... .

So if I only need this extra fuel range once or twice a year, is the Acerbis tank too much of a job? Or have those smart guys in Devon figured out an easy mounting kit for the larger tank?

If you only need extra fuel once or twice a year, id go the nomad or even just a fuel bladder.

While the extra fuel of the acerbis is nice, its not worth the cost or effort of fitting it to your bike for a few uses.
