2004 model.  4 previous owners. I have owned this since 2010 from a friend. He had bought it from a local dealers where I live.

I bought it with 2200 miles on the clock with all the road gear still on it - it had not been used off tarmac.

Since 2010 I have used it for what Mr Yamaha intended it to be used for - trail riding and it has been outstanding.

If it has ever needed anything - it has had it.

Chain & Sprockets good. Brake pads changed whilst leading in the A2E in April this year - bike has not been used since.,

Wheel bearing done 4 rides ago, all balls full rear suspension kit fitted last year.

Oil & Filter just changed.

Dakar bars, endurance II speedo, 12v connector fitted for sat nav.

CRD frame guards.

Bike will come with a rear knobbly tyre fitted rather than MT43 as shown.

Rear rack will be removed.

There are scuffs on plastics as can be seen.

It runs like a Swiss watch and has around 10000miles on the clock. I changed the speedo last year when it started to become unreliable but I have all the previous MOTs so you can see that the mileage at around 10k is accurate.

7.5 wt oil in forks. Bashplate. Symtecttr11.jpg heated grips fitted.

Any trial is welcome & encouraged - it will pass with flying colours!

the only reason for sale is that I am buying a restored one from Brian.

MOT is until November.

I think with the history, lowish mileage and year its cheap at £1550. (FIRM).

Any questions just ring

I thought this was priced well.

However, my new one is due to arrive at the beginning of August.

So, price reduced to £1350.00.

If it doesn't sell, I'll keep it as a spare second bike.

Boz

Following contact from an interested party can I clarify that this bike has been used for trail riding and it bears some of the scars that all trail bikes encounter.

In the case of this TTR you will see that there are marks to the plastics.

in addition you will see that there is some different coloured paint applied, particularly around the left foot peg area.

this Hammerite paint was the closest match I could find to the original powder coat as I had no intention on stripping the bike down to have the whole frame repowder coated.

it has been applied to the frame wherever the powder coated has flaked in order to offer protection against rust.

In relation to the foot peg area, this was applied following a weld which needed applying to the footrest plate as it meets the frame. This is not uncommon and was professionally welded. I then sprayed over the area with the Hammerite.

The repair is as good as new.

I think it's your timing that's out, rather than the price - holiday season starting and folk's minds are elsewhere (as are their wallets!) It's a good price. Good luck,
Simon.
