 Hi there,

anybody knows the number of part of the cylinder gasket, and the cylinder head gasket in the Open Enduro models?

is the same that the y2k models?

 

I have an Open Enduro TTr, but I don't know the year, it doesn't have the VIN number, and the chassis is 4GY-085589, maybe '97- '98 or '99, i´m not shure

the thing is: in Yamaha dealer here in Chile, said me the number of part for the gasket is 4GY-11351-00-00 and 4GY-11181-01-00

and the info I've found on internet said that this number is for blue models '99-'06...

is the same for OE???

It is almost impossible to get the head off without moving the barrel which can result in cracking or damaging the base gasket.

It is worth buying a new base gasket so that you are preapred.  

The genuine Yamaha gaskets are very expensive. 

It might be worth looking at the cost of shipping a had and base gasket combination from Totally TTRs - see here
