I had to replace my shock flap again Ive been cutting new pieces out of of our office floor protector thingo my latest attempt has a slight improvement that seems to be working 

I've added a bit extra on the right hand side keeping the right hand side of the swing arm pivot a bit cleaner .may not be much benifit but I like it
