Went out yesterday with a new guy ( hopes he will get on here soon and join the gang!) Alan from Cornwall.

Met him at Hatherliegh and we had a chat about bikes. Now he comes from a trials background and had not been trail riding before, we talked about the TTR'S and he thought about getting a bigger bike sooncry

Well I said not to be to hasty and give the little bike a chancesmile

So we set of for Dartmoor, taking in my local lanes around the northern edge of the moors. We stopped for a coffee at whiddon down before getting to Fingle bridge, an iconic lane used on many long distance trials. Three Rocky hairpins in and I found myself flat on my arsefurious

Now to make an excuse I was riding the bike I have bought to do a totallyttr's rebuild on and it had a worn out knobbly on the backno

Must of been that what did itwink

I was wanting to check the engine out, before doing a rebuild and it sounded so sweet and pulled like a trainsmilesmilesmile

Had a pasty at chagford

Alan is in the picture.

We had a quick pint in my local and a natter about the bikes, now we did a few technical lanes and Alan can certainly handle a bike, he was really impressed with the TTR and happy to say, is fully convinced of it's abilitysmile

Looks like we will be having a new membersmile to the TTR gangbiggrinbiggrin

Any good rider always has his/her excuses handy

For example, the bloody kangaroo was just waiting till I got close enough !
