I recently bought a WR250X after selling one of my TTR250's.  It does not have brush guards fitted but I have looked into fitting the same ones the TTR250 has because I like their simplicity and only want them for a little wind protection.

I know there are many other after-market kits out there that would probably be cheaper than OE but I have yet to see anything that floats my boat.

I did a trial fit from the ones on my TTR and they can be made to fit easily enough but the WR pivot bolts are too short to work with the guards.

Anyone have some spare ones from a TTR or the part number for them?

Aren't the original TTR ones that were used with the "flag" handguards long enough?

Presuming you mean this sort of handguard?

Yes, they are the ones I want to use Brian.  I have a good one for the brake side but a scuffed one for the clutch so I may well come to you for a set if available.

The brake lever one is a good fit, the clutch lever one cannot use the second mounting hole but may be ok without it.  The pivot bolts on the WR are too short to take account of going through the hand guards and using the nut underneath to clamp them, which is particularly necessary on the clutch side.

I haven't got any of the flag handguards in stock but I have a long pivot bolt. If you are ordering anything else from the shop I am happy to put it in with the order free of charge else would need cost of p&p covered wink

Thanks for the very kind offer Locky.

After visiting Brians shop I opted to fit the simple Polisport wrap around guards that Brian stocks as they are excellent value and suit the WR very well.

All sorted now, maybe Brian will take them as used stock?
