OK here is my 04 TTR I've spent a while sorting it out stripping excess weight and up grading a few bits starting with

Michelin AC10's

 A home made bash plate

Home made brake master cylinder heal guard

Rear mud guard/number plate holder cut down

Rear mounted tool bag

20mm bar risers (e-bay)

Ally braced bars from Wurtz racing

Braced bark busters (e-bay)

52 tooth rear sprocket

Home made anti de-rail lowering bracket

Removed rear pegs and indicators and I think that's it

We will doth be getting dirty for the first time in our lives on Saturday. Wish us luckbiggrin

looks really good! Do you have the measurements of the bash plate you made as I was gonna look at getting one made rather than pay out the £80 + that they cost!

Nice TTR. Like the home made wood bike stand and sump guard! biggrin

You might find mounting your bike harder work with that bag on there, and you might find you end up breaking your mirrors too, might be ok if you only do light trails. winksmile

What is an anti de-rail lowering bracket??... confuse

Dan I pretty much made it by eye I made up a light gauge steel pattern then copied that in 3mm aluminium which cost £10. on e-bay it's really not that hard if you can use a ruler and hammer☺.

Had a great day out Saturday on the penines including a very snowy Cold Berry End (England's highest byway) and a very stuck 650 Dakar after it threw it's chain.

Looks like a cracking first run out an a cold one as to Stuck Dakar I know that feeling nice bikes clocked up 00000s of miles on them an the standard f's but put them in soft mud or sand an it can dig a hole that will take an army to pull it out of. hope you gave that clean TTr a good wash off after

It took 4 of us to haul the Dakar out and it took a bit of hauling and mauling to get it through the deepest snow. The TTR performed faultlessly all day which is more down to its abilities than mine😁 .looking forward to our next foray now.
