Cheap and effective tensioner tool!

Tensioner tool.jpg

Knocked up out of a spare IKEA flatpack hex key by ttrsteve - kindly donated to me after we had finished using it on his engine biggrin

What is nice about it is that it sticks in the slot leaving two hands free.

Is the tensioner something you need to check / adjust?

No need to check.

You would only use it when you have removed the tensioner and are installing again.
