I bought this filter/basket combo some time back so I could swap out in a few minutes and clean my OE filter at a later date and have as a back-up. When I made the swap, I noticed that the UNI basket has a piece on it that was just a bit too tall to make the clamp snap shut
Here is a shot of the UNI basket on the left & OE on the right
The package for the UNI (on the far left) CLEARLY shows it to be for a "1999-2006 TTR 250" & Says "THE BEST FILTERS ON EARTH" It AINT so!
I put the UNI foam filter on the OE basket (sorry, no picture) and it was obvious that it was too tall for the basket, however I intend on using it anyway for now.
I just cleaned up my old filter with Kerosene and will store it until next time.
