Oil leak from clutch push lever seal
Permalink

Have just done a complete rebuild on my old 1996 TTR250....long overdue. She has fired up fine, except for an odd oil leak coming out of the clutch push lever seal. Have cleaned out the crankcase evac system & all of the hoses thinking it may be a build up of crankcase pressure, but the leak remains. Anybody else had this happen & can the seal be replaced without a heap of drama?

Did you solve this problem I also have a leak from this seal and am about to replace the seal, I have no excess crankcase pressure either. Only thing I can think is that due to the upright position of the push lever and the way the seal sits below its mounting dirt has worked its way down the shaft and damaged the seal or levers.

Do you have any advice on replacing
Thanks Grahame
