Devon Routes GPX files...

Hello all, a few of us from a local Hampshire group are looking to plan a long days riding in Devon.

I was wondering if anyone on here would have some routes as GPX files they would like to share?

If you want to look the group up we are 'Mudbuster Green Laners' we are a genuine group of people, and would be happy to return the favour with routes we have made in Hampshire. Some of which include the Devils Punch Bowl

Cheers in advance

Can help with route from Okehampton to East of Dartmoor.

Saying that, it may be best to start at Newton Abbott as the density of lanes is massive.

Also worth looking at Devon TRF and having a look for BombX3 (Ray), he often rides out from there and does a great (intensive!) ride

I will 2nd that have an ask on the Devon TRF site for a run leader to give your group a (intensive!) work out ride round some of Devon's best lanes will probably cost you there fuel cost an a pasty for dinner......wink  an having watched your Group video's on youtube you need a leader that you have to work hard to keep up with biggrinbiggrin  I'm yet to find someone who ride's slower than me no I got passed by a chap on a mountain bike the other day on a lane don't tell anyone ok

Hi Danny

When are you thinking of coming? While a gpx route is OK, you really need to know the lanes, as they can easily change depending on the weather.

How many of you would it be?

Are you looking to ride as many lanes as possible, or are you OK with a bit of road work?

My Area of Dartmoor has some iconic lanes, but a bit of road needed, but saying that they are all minor roads.

I have just led a group from the isle of white and we rode 50+ lanes in 110 miles and we done some really nice lanes, was 8hr ride.

I could do over 100+ lanes from newton abbott way, but that would need to be when the day light is a bit longer! At least a 9 and a half hr ride.

Thank you everyone for comments.

Steve we are just in the progress of looking at options for trips.

I will stay in touch on this thread, I like your options Steve, and we could very well be in touch.

Regards Danny
