Hey has anyone modified the crank case breather so it doesn't flow into airbox?

pipe up your crankcase breather to breathe to atmosphere make sure it is not blocked in the pipe not kinked if you do this make sure it is not leaking onto your tyres

A previous owner has already had a go at your emulsifier outlet as it shouldn't feed into the airbox - if that is what it's doing. It's not clear from the photo.

This is what it should look like:

Its an emulsifier and is there to take out any water or oil mist before it hits the airbox. All to do with emission control to stop the oil breather fumes going straight into the atmosphere - or all over your bike cry

I don't see that there is a problem with having it properly fitted. You aren't going to save a lot of weight or gain power by removing it confuse

Same with the resonator box higher up - Mr Yamaha wouldn't have gone to the expense of fitting one if it did nowt wink
