Some time back in the early 80's maybe we went out for Sunday bike runs to pub's all over Devon that's me on the left with hair biggrin we liked badges beer an bike's Brit bikes that is. centre is my mate Rich RIP lost him some 10 years back in a plane crash he was one of the best welders I have ever seen an still feel him on my shoulder when I'm welding telling me I'm crap it looks like a flock of seagulls just shat over it biggrin miss him still. put this on hear as her in doors was flicking around the web an found this pic on a site with old pic's of Devon country life me in Black an White.

That's great and real proper is that.

I've got quite a few pictures by James Ravilious - he was quite a snappy snapper of the time.

I must admit that that image bears no resemblance to your present avatar snap. confuse  biggrin

Them was the days i was well off money went miles beer was just over 30p a pint pack of super king's 56p gallon of fuel was just over a pound. I use to fill the bike two packs of supe kings and put the change from the fiver in me pocket. I had just hit my first £100 pound a week pay packet what the hell went wrong.................

I took the Queen's shilling in 81 saw the world spent 2 years posted in Germany went for a Trip in the lower South Atlantic then posted to hong kong and back to the UK around 1990 back on the streets for a year or two then back in for 10 more years. still dont know why i did that............
