Wide selection of parts, going cheap.

See the last post for updated list

Okay, yes, I know what this looks like. New member, second post on the fleamarket, trying to shift a bunch of parts.  And it's an Australian, no less...

Well, I hope the mods have mercy, and believe me when I say I am legit, I have been lurking here for some time, and I do have a heap of parts in good nick that I'm looking to shift to a new home.

All the prices are in AUD, because all the bits are in Australia. Great news for the Poms - at this exchange rate, you can probably get yourself half a new bike for the price of lunch. Seriously, if you see something you might want as a spare in the shed, let me know what it'd be worth to you. I'll do deals on multiple parts, special deal if you want the lot. Buyer pays post,  but I'll get you a quote first, and I'm sure on the smaller stuff the shipping wont be a dealbreaker.

Hi There

I need a chain guard, mine never came with one

when you say it's a bit worn do you mean the slider but not the chain guard ?

I don't need a slider, mine is good

Cheers

BMSteve

It would be really helpful if you could edit your original post and put "SOLD" by the parts already sold such as the shock wink

Quick bump and an update on what's sold.

At this point, those prices are preeety much arbitrary. Throw me a number and I'm likely to accept it :)

Renthal 7/8 handlebars.

Not bent. Still blue, still shiny. Comes with Yamaha face-protector (compatible only if you have a Yamaha face). $20 plus post from Canberra

Also have some 7/8 bar perches, along with clamps and risers. The perch mount bolts themselves are for 12mm holes. $20 plus post from Canberra

Header pipe - great condition, no dents or caked mud. $50?

Front fender - couple of scratches and scuffs but otherwise serviceable $30

Front Fender, shortened - trimmed down for super tight scrubwork. Bit faded and scuffed but again serviceable. $20

LHS rear panel - some light scratches and an extra hole drilled in it. Mount points are fine. $20.

Rear fender - rear underside bolt point broken, extra holes drilled in it, scratched. Will still mount up OK with some bush mechanicing. Tail light OK but needs bulb. $20 ?

Battery box - good nick. $10

Swingarm - looks solid and straight visually, no reason to suspect structural damage. Assume needs new bearings. Brake line clips, rubber slider and fin included. $80 ?

Suspension linkage and relay arm - needs new bearings and has a bit of grime but otherwise serviceable. $20 for both

Rear brake - full set: caliper, backet, slave, reservoir and lines. No lever. All seems serviceable. Needs new pads and fluid $100

Rear wheel -good condition! Spokes aren't even rusty. No dents. Needs new bearings and the spacers will need some elbow grease to get out but on the whole pretty nice. Disc included. Can work something out if you want the tire too ( geomax mx51 @70%). $150 ?

Rear axle and chain spacers - no rust. free with rear wheel if you want. Otherwise, $10

Mudguard - tail light works, but needs another bulb and a new plastic lens cover.otherwise fine. $10

Indicator - came off the rear, but they should fit anywhere, standard bullet plugs. No lens but they're cheap on eBay. Has a bulb. $10?

Front indicator mount plates - OEM versions. $10 for both.

Wiring loom - very clean, no apparent corrosion! Did a few tests with a battery and multimeter, looks fine to me. $40

Clutch switch - $20

Side stand switch - $20

Rear frame bar - the one you remove to get the airbox out. $10

Front forks - So these are in good enough nick, except, the uppers have a slight bend. A decent suspensionsmith (or home handyman) could straighten them no worries but I don't have the time. The lowers and internals sho gould be in good nick. $40 for the both?
